NewEnglandTimes and New-England-Vacations-Guide Merge

It's one of those rare moments in life when you just know you've made a good decision. It's even rarer if it involves business, and you're staring ahead at a great, white expanse with no idea what will be written on it over time. But for NewEnglandTimes.Com it was the right thing to do, and positive writing is appearing on that blank white future.

After a collaborative period of almost a year, NewEnglandTimes.Com has merged with New-England-Vacations-Guide.com. Just having those two sites with links back and forth would make this interesting enough. But we're looking at making some real magic appear on a suite of sites yet to be built, each comprising some aspect of travel and tourism throughout the region; places to go, things to do and see, where to stay and how to get here are the focus, although each site will have very specific focus and as soon as they're ready, we'll make them available to you.

Jim and Terry Hyde, owners of NewEnglandTimes.Com and Cliff Calderwood and Erika Slater, owners of New-England-Vacations-Guide.com will be collaborating on producing a good many eBooks and other products, such as photo albums, that will enthrall all who read them.

While the sites will remain separate and producing the content they do currently, the Hydes plan to take NewEnglandTimes.Com a bit more toward an eZine, written for people sincerely interested in the region , with articles and interviews with luminaries who live or lived in New England.

Both sites have forms where you can sign up to get our free newsletters and travel guides, so to stay current with our building efforts, please give us your email address, and we'll send you free newsletters and travel guide reports periodically. And no, not one soul either than the four principals will ever see, receive, borrow or be sold your email address. The reason is simple: While we build these sites, they are there for you. By giving us your email address, you become a part of our family. We have no other partners who are waiting in the wings to send you emails about Viagra, vitamins, and remedies for all manner of illnesses or anything else.

We'll also keep you apprised of developments here in our blogs, so if you don't want to share your email address, no problem. You'll get developments here, they just won't be as complete.

If you have suggestions or materials you'd like us to post on one of our sites, let us know. A byline or photo credits can help you sell to other outlets, and we'd be proud to review your work and if it's appropriate, put it on one of our sites.

Thanks for visiting us, and please, don't be a stranger. We'll be adding a lot more B&Bs, hotels and resorts and spas to our pages, so check back with NewEnglandTimes.com in our Lodging Section and pick a destination and hotel, then go over to New-England-Vacation-Guide.com to get help planning your vacations. For most folks, a vacation happens once a year, so let us help make it perfect for you.

Cheers,

Jim & Terry Hyde and Cliff Calderwood and Erika Slater, your hosts.
